Heather honey

The Heather is purple. We have been looking forward to it for a while and brought the bee colony to the heather. And then wait and see! Last year was a good heather year and now we are also full of expectations: the heather has grown well in the spring.

Enjoy every day. Especially the days when we ourselves go out into the heath for the checks. In particular, we check whether the honey ends up in the right place in the cupboards and whether the pieces intended for comb honey are properly developed. Heather honey requires attention and care, which is what the bees deserve. Because then comes the beautiful honey.

We don’t know a product more beautiful than heather honey. She is also called the “King of honey”.
