Lime honey is a yellow-green to dark yellow honey with, according to taste experts, a minty aftertaste.
Before the collection of the nectar can begin, the temperature must be pleasant, otherwise the nectar of the lime will not be suitable ”to be honeyed”.
“to honey” means that the blossom gives the nectar. The flowering time of the lime trees is often in the beginning of the summer.
The honey is loved by many for its soothing effect.
Lime honey is a good liquid honey that does not crystallize quickly and can therefore be used well in tea.
Origin Linden honey
Our lime honey comes from Dutch beekeepers who practice beekeeping on their own soil.
